Moroccan Tamegroute candle holder in the shape of the sun handcrafted in the small village of Tamegroute.  Tamegroute lies in southern Morocco, right on the border of the Sahara desert, and is renowned for its authentic, earthy, and rustic pottery.  The unique glaze is a result of the baking process, where a combination of silicon, copper, and manganese are coated on the pottery before being fired in earth ovens.
