Care Instructions

All our items are handmade and made to last the test of time however good aftercare is extremely important to keep them at their best. We've compiled a guide below to help maintain your new items for years to come. 

Ceramics.

All Chabi Chic ceramic including cups, plates and salad bowls can be washed and most are dishwasher safe. Please check the care instructions with the product listing for specific items.

Tamegroute and Tadelakt ceramics should only be wiped down with a damp cloth and are not suitable for use in dishwashers.

Pouffes 

Leather pouffes

To care for your leather pouffe we recommend using a dry, or slightly damp cloth when wiping to remove marks or spills. If using water only apply cold and keep to a minimum.  Avoid using any cleaning products, soaps or polish on the surface.

To ensure the colour of your pouf does not fade, keep it away from direct sunlight. Also, avoid placing any hot items on the pouf directly or keeping it near any heat source such as fireplace or radiator. This will prevent the leather from drying out.

Berber pouffes/Floor cushions

Our Berber floor cushions are made of wool and should be professionally dry cleaned. You can, should you chose to, wash by hand with cool water. Do not use any soaps or chemical detergents to avoid damage/running dye. Air Dry after.

Rugs

All rugs should be professionally dry cleaned only. 

Pillows

All Sabra Silk, Beni Ourain & Vintage cushions should be dry cleaned only. Our Pom Pom cotton range can be washed at 30 degrees. To keep the Pom Poms beautiful we recommended that you wash the cover inside out and in a pillowcase.

Blankets

Our Pom Pom blankets can be washed at 30 degrees. We suggest washing the blanket inside a duvet cover in order to keep the Pom Poms beautiful.
